After twelve years of silence, Brazilian thrash legends Violator return with "Unholy Retribution" – eight relentlessly extreme tracks that more than make up for the temporary hiatus. This third studio album channels years of frustration into devastating riffs and vitriolic lyrics without compromise. Resurrected from the underground of Brasília, the band isn't just making a comeback; they're making a musical reckoning, transforming raw rage into a devastating soundscape. High Roller is releasing the vinyl version in collaboration with Kill Again Records.
The band enlisted Belgian producer Yarne Heylen specifically for this project. Kill Again owner Antonio Rolldão explains: "He captured the essence of the band, and the end result sounds killer." The production strikes a perfect balance between organic brutality and surgical precision, while renowned artist Andrei Bouzikov has once again designed artwork that captures the album's fierce message.
Standout tracks like the devastating 'Chapel of the Sick' and the cold-blooded opener 'Hang the Merchants of Illusion' showcase a band at the peak of their powers, delivering the relentless thrash assault that fans of classic underground metal have been craving.
