Enslaved's second majestic opus, much faster, more uncontrolled and chaotic than what had come before, and an album that not only firmly established their style, but one that laid the foundation for their future evolution. 'Frost' planted a flag straight in the ground for music referring both to an essential inspiration from Nature and the Pagan pantheism/nationalism which is so integral to the spiritual center of Norwegian black metal.
