Each band contributes four tracks in this split between two Norwegian underground Black Metal acts, deeply rooted in the 90s spirit the genre was founded upon. Nature, folklore, darkness, and evil intertwine in that distinctly Norwegian way. With both bands long established, you won’t find any hyper modern, triggered, or overproduced Black Metal here. What you get is a raw, atmospheric journey across windswept mountains, into shadowed valleys, haunted by an evil rising from the darkest pits. For fans of either band, this is some of their strongest material yet; you won’t be disappointed.
