URARV - Aurum CD

One of the revelations of 2017 is "Aurum" - the debut album from URARV, brainchild of Bjørn Aldrahn Dencker of DHG/Thorns fame. The trio is completed by Sturt (Whip) and Trish (Asagraum among others) and together they make a great sounding, highly convincing debut effort. URARV draws inspiration from '90s black metal, traditional norse music/folk and elements of avantgarde, to create a sonic vision that is both unique and highly addictive. Aldrahn's lyrics and characteristic vocal delivery lends the album a distinct flavour and "Aurum" is 100% quality right down to the great looking design.
