SORHIN - I Det Glimrande Mörkrets Djup LP (Preorder)

NB! Preorder item, release November 20.

Shadow Records proudly presents the reissue of Sorhin's debut full-length album, I det glimrande mörkrets djup on LP and CD formats.

Following the primitive darkness of their 1996 debut EP Skogsgriftens rike, Swedish black metal cult
Sorhin returned in 1997 with their first full-length, I det glimrande mörkrets djup. Recorded at Abyss
Studio in November 1996, the album captures Sorhin at an early peak, raw, melodic and deeply rooted
in the sinister spirit of the Swedish underground of the mid-to-late 90s.
From the relentless opening of “Godhetens fall” to the haunting title track, Sorhin forged a sound of
abrasive guitars, hypnotic melodies and uncompromising darkness, establishing the foundation for
what would become one of the most revered Swedish black metal discographies of the era.
I det glimrande mörkrets djup stands as a defining document of Sorhin’s early years and an essential
piece of the northern Swedish black metal tradition.
