"Malleus Maleficarum" is the debut album by PESTILENCE; a band who paved the way for generations of progressive death metal artists.

The album was originally released in 1988 and is now a metal monument of death metal mixed with thrash. The history of "Malleus Maleficarum" goes back to the beginning of the genre; the album predated Death's "Leprosy" by a month, while Morbid Angel had not yet released their first album.
