Kenyon Records proudly presents the definitive vinyl reissue of Acheron’s cult 1992 debut Rites of the Black Mass—a landmark of Satanic death metal, now remastered and unleashed as a deluxe hand-numbered double LP, this variant is strictly limited to 250 hand numbered copies.

Kenyon Records partnered with each member from Rites of the Black Mass to design their own variant edition for this 2nd pressing. This colored vinyl edition was designed by Vincent Crowley. Housed in a 350gsm heavyweight gatefold jacket, this edition honors the legacy of Acheron’s earliest infernal rituals with unparalleled attention to detail and premium packaging.

ACHERON was founded in 1988 by vocalist/bassist/songwriter Vincent Crowley (formerly of Nocturnus). After three demos they recorded their cult debut album ‘Rites of the Black Mass’ in 1992 at Morrisound Studios with Scott Burns (Death, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse etc).

Vincent Crowley Variant: this variant was personally designed by Acheron main man Vincent Crowley, gatefold jacket, 180 g vinyl, 2025 remaster of the 1992 album and 1991 demo, ltd edition hand numbered of 250 copies, 61 cm x 61 cm full color album cover poster on 150 gsm art paper, 8 page 30 cm x 30 cm full color booklet on 200 gsm art paper, hype sticker, Vincent Crowley liner notes, David E.
