Aptly titled, Tyrann Forever sees the Swedes running through their whole arsenal – thunder \u0026amp; lightning heavy metal, straight-between-the-eyes hard rock, moody \u0026amp; magickal AOR, and the galloping early Maiden-gone-punk of their earliest days – with an aplomb that’s patient and breathless simultaneously. The songwriting’s as taut as it comes, with eight songs spanning a half-hour, but TYRANN pack each to the gills with hooks that are\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"bcTruncateMore\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003estripped-down yet sublime. That they can somehow take garage ethics to stadium dynamics circa 1981 is some strange alchemy, to be sure, but it only serves to make their already-intimate personality that much more ingratiating.
